Founder, sommelier, & winemaker Rachel ‘Rae’ Wilson has over 20 years in the food/wine industry, learning winemaking in California, Portugal & Texas. She holds an advanced certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She currently has two wine productions- Dandy Rosé and The Grower Project. Through her experience in many facets of the industry, she was inspired to create Wine For the People in 2010.
Sommelier, Operations Manager Sisi Berry began her journey as a biology major turned wine chemist after landing a job at a wine bar in college. She continued pursuing viticulture & enology while working in labs and cellars in several wine regions in Spain, and certified as a sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Upon her return to the U.S. in 2014 she found Wine For the People and quickly made herself indispensable, taking on a wide range of responsibilities. When not taking over the world with her wine talents, she runs a catering & events company, Mi Paella, and plays music with her band, Torino Black.
